About Us

Nemaha County Co-op-- This locally producer owned full service Coop was established in March of 1936. The main office is located on the east side of town in Seneca, KS. After 80 years of service we are proud to have facilities serving locations in Baileyville, Corning, Centralia, Vliets, St. Marys, Belvue and Wamego. The 3 southern locations of St. Marys, Belvue, and Wamego were added in July 2012. In December 2011, our Mr. Tire Service Center opened the doors. Located on 110 S. 1st St. in Seneca, we offer tire sales, oil changes, batteries and minor car repairs. Products and services we offer include ag chemicals, petroleum products, propane, fertilizer, seed, feed, and grain storage. In August of 2016, NCCA bought Axtell Grain and is now up to 9 locations.

Our mission is Dedicated to Service, Dedicated to you! We continue to update equipment and facilities to serve our customers. We currently have over 100 dedicated full time employees plus several seasonal employees some of which are retired Coop employees. We appreciate their willingness to work and their expertise when the need arises. The goal of our structure is to have management and employees working together as a team to serve our members to the best of our ability.

As a Cooperative, the profits of the company are utilized in purchasing equipment or to provide services for our customers. In many cases profits are returned as equity payment in cash or placed in the member allocated equity position for distribution to the member at a later date. The financial position of this cooperative is very good which is reflective of our business model of helping our farmers succeed. We thank our members and the communities we serve for supporting the local business they already own.
